What Do You Expect?

Have you ever eaten food just because you felt like you should? Of course you have. We all have. Maybe you’re just not hungry…nothing looks appetizing…you could be doing something else…but it’s time to eat. So we eat. Three meals a day whether you need it or not. It’s just what you do.
Internet marketing is like that. Do you really feel like it works…or do you do it because you feel like you should. And hey, if you don’t expect too much you won’t be too disappointed.
How about your website…getting any leads? If not…why do you have one? Why even pay the hosting fee? I’ll bet it’s because you figure you should. I mean, you gotta have a website, right?
There are two types of business owners…those who believe internet marketing will work and expect measurable results…and those who just feel like they have to have something out there.
Which are you? It’s easy to tell: Do you blog your passions and ideas regularly…or do you write content to fill the space? Does your website call for action…or is it a brochure?
If having a website is just something you have to do and your expectations aren’t too high, then you won’t be too disappointed with the lack of results. But internet marketing can grow your business if you decide to make it happen.
