While updating this change, it’s remarkable to me how many places we’ve submitted our address over the years in our marketing efforts.  Fortunately, I have a great email archive and have been able to retrieve the logins necessary to make the changes.  But if you are planning a change, here is a list I used to get you started on places you’ll need to notify or login and update:

• Your website contact forms
• Your website footer
• Your domain DNS ownership records
• Your email signature
• Google Places listing
• Yahoo! Local listing
• Bing Local Listing
• Your listings with the Chamber of Commerce
• Your listings with the Better Business Bureau
• Email marketing tools (Mail Chimp, Constant Contact, etc)
• Social media profiles (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc)
• Your accounting software

In print:

• Business cards
• Yellow page listings
• Letterhead
• Envelopes
• Checks
• Any ongoing advertising campaigns that may have your old address
