What is a Traffic Manager?

As part of the digital marketing team at Spire, a Traffic Manager helps local businesses and organizations thrive and grow with online campaigns that get cost-effective results. 

Every day, you will get new puzzles to solve while collaborating with a high-energy team of creative thinkers who love helping local businesses and organizations succeed.  You will help to create and manage online campaigns that appear on social media, search engines, and other online platforms in a role that uses a mix of both creative and analytical thinking.

Led and supported by the Director of Content Marketing and the Lead Marketing Strategist, you will receive in-depth, on-the-job training as well as ongoing support to help you develop your skills.

Responsibilities

  • Team Collaboration - Collaborate with Project Managers to help clients succeed
  • Strategy - Collaborate with other creative thinkers to plan and execute a marketing strategy that accomplishes client goals with limited budgets
  • Campaign Management - Monitor and regularly improve campaigns on multiple digital media platforms, including Google Search, Google Display Network, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest
  • Reporting - Analyze, report, and prepare monthly recommendations on the performance of a client's marketing efforts
  • Social Page Setup - Set up and optimize company pages within social platforms to increase the visibility of company’s social content and ensure consistent brand messaging 
  • Email Marketing - Help clients nurture their customers and prospects with email newsletters and campaigns

Requirements

    • Knowledge of online marketing with an understanding of major marketing channels
    • Experience using social media to generate a measurable result like traffic, event registrations, leads, or sales
    • Strong writing and communication skills
    • Positive attitude and detail oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
    • 1-2 years job experience preferred but not required
    • Bachelor’s degree, OR the ability to demonstrate equivalent skills and real-world experience
