Rebecca Zickefoose

Rebecca hails originally from the west side of Cleveland and has been known to make frequent trips “back home” just for donuts. A graduate of Cleveland State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, she found what she’s unearthed in herself is a deep desire to know—about people, about the world, and about what makes everything tick. With 16+ years experience in management, ministry, and creating real-life solutions for big ideas, she applies her need to learn and her natural problem solving skills to many-faceted projects.

Now a long-time resident of Ashland, she believes that a strong community thrives on the willingness of its members and has had the privilege to sit on the board of the Explore Ashland CVB. She holds a certification as a 200RYT Yoga Instructor and is passionate about guiding people towards discovering what’s inside their hearts. Rebecca taught preschool ballet for several years, as well as had numerous opportunities to volunteer for and support community activities.

Rebecca’s favorite thing to do is experience life with her favorite people, mainly her steadfast husband, Michael, and their two inquisitive, energetic children. History and humanities lessons and a sprinkling of the fantastic abound in their household and resonate through their vacations, frequent trips into nature, choice of reading materials and entertainment, and topics of conversation. You’ll most likely catch her talking or eating on camera and if you find her in a tree with a book you’ll know she’s Home.
