Allison Barnhart

Allison is an Ashland native, AHS grad, and Ashland University alum (2006) with a bachelor’s degree in Commercial Art and Graphic Design with an Affiliate Program Certificate from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Since graduation Allison has been working as a professional graphic designer and contracting for a number of small businesses, non-profits, and individuals. Her experience with a variety of industries allows her to offer Spire’s clients a customized approach to meet their specific design needs. She enjoys design challenges and loves working collaboratively. Shaped by a long-time background in music and fine art, Allison undertakes her design work with depth, purpose, and intention.

Outside of the office, Allison spends her time gardening, making art, writing, learning about formational prayer and healing and is an avid family record keeper and historian—eager to Nancy-Drew herself into new genealogical mysteries and help others discover their own ancestral stories. She attends Park Street Brethren Church with her family.

Allison and her husband Jason met at church camp, became friends, and decided life was better together! They have two great kids, Miles and Clementine, and a frustrating but lovable mini-dachshund, Golly. As a family they love attending Cleveland Guardians baseball games, spending time with family and friends, watching documentaries, and eating Maryland steamed crabs.
