Jeremy is passionate about helping entrepreneurs get results. He knows first-hand the joys and pains of starting and growing a business.
In 2006, after working for two consecutive organizations that were on the brink of shutdown, Jeremy started Spire in the spare bedroom of his home. Today Spire has offices in both Ashland and Tiffin and employs 19 full-time employees and serves over 500 clients including businesses, churches, and non-profit agencies. He embraces his post in business as a powerful way to make a lasting impact on customers, employees, and the community.
Jeremy grew up on a family farm, and later studied marketing at Heidelberg University, where he met Kim. After moving to Ashland in 2003 for her to attend Ashland Theological Seminary, Jeremy & Kim realized they loved Ashland and decided to stick around.
Jeremy & Kim have been married since 2000. They love watching their son Andre compete in cross country meets and family road trips in the Jeep Wrangler. Jeremy is a private pilot, and enjoys playing piano on the worship team at Five Stones Community Church.

Before starting our advertising & web design company, I worked in a small company that had a traditional "sales department." This group of sales people literally made phone calls all day long. Many were cold calls - and their rate of failure was very, very high. If the company wanted to increase its sales, it could make incremental increases by finding better sales tactics, OR it could hire another sales rep who -- if they worked hard enough -- would earn their keep while bringing in a little extra.
I'm sorry, but I just wouldn't be able to do that.
I don't like the idea of calling people who weren't expecting my call, and trying to sell them something they didn't ask to buy. That's why effective marketing is so important to grow a business. You still need to do sales, but the approach is different, and the success rate is much higher. I'll explain, but first let me prove my theory from first hand experience.
