This is a good system for email and business leads to organize business and handle the growth. I have seen the used in gmail addresses, but I never knew what it was for. Now I do! I have successfully Jotted to my google lists. Now I just need to come up with some good list names. This works for Google Apps AND the normal Gmail. So if your email were example@gmail.com, you would do the following: 1. Setup contacts in Jott for each list you want. For example, an agenda might send to example+agenda@gmail.com. To-do list items might be example+todo@gmail.com. 2. In Gmail, the only thing you need to do is setup filters. Setup a filter that all messages sent to example+agenda@gmail.com automatically get labeled "Agenda" and archived. That's it! If you use Google Apps instead of Gmail, it still works. Then your address might be yourname@example.com. In this case, you setup contacts in jott like yourname+agenda@example.com and yourname+todo@example.com. Make sense?

Getting Things Done With Google Apps, Jott & Salesforce.com - Blog

Osman - Great post, but I'm stuck

Great post, but I'm stuck in step 5. How did you set up Jott to send items to your Google lists? Did you add your gmail account as a Jott contact, or did you use one of the Jott links? How did you get the Jott emails filtered to your "Meeting Agenda" list? Thanks! --Osman

Getting Things Done With Google Apps, Jott & Salesforce.com - Blog

Jeremy Harrison - Steve, thanks for your co

Steve, thanks for your comment! Amazing how much of the same stuff we're using. I have a Treo too, and am using a wireless sync program. The one I'm using is called Ogg Sync. Is goosync for a Windows Treo or a Palm Treo? I'd love to ditch my Treo too, but something tells me that something better will be coming out in another 6 months. I'm seeing a lot of devices that ALMOST have everything I want -- so I'm waiting it out. I'm new to this Salesforce thing. In fact, haven't been able to fully implement it yet, because we're moving my personal Gmail account over to a Google Apps account, which is a prerequisite for Salesforce. Hopefully by mid-week I'll be using it and trying it out. I understand your dilemma with the campaign program thing. I know of several tools that will automate that process for email messages, but not the postcard and phone call. I can help with the email auto-responder system, and integrate it with your website if you need it. Check out aweber for the best program if you want to do it yourself. Best of luck to you!

Getting Things Done With Google Apps, Jott & Salesforce.com - Blog

Steve Kornspan - Jeremy, Sounds like we ha

Jeremy, Sounds like we have ended up in the same exact place. I use SFDC, Jott, GTD, and Gmail. A couple of points - Syncing to Treo, I found a program, goosync that will do this task wireless. Be careful if you need to hard reset your treo the next sync you must set to slow or all data will be erased. Also you can sync calendar and contact through outlook offline or use the expensive SFDC option. I am not fond of treo but it is the only solution that works with our real estate software. Also, I recently started using the vertical response program for mass email i am quite pleased with the results. Again SFDC has a solution but it gets costly. My current issue, I am looking for an action plan/campaign program that will integrate. When I list or sell a home, or chase a new prospect there are certain repetitive tasks that have to be done at a set number of days (i.e. send an email, send a post card, make a phone call). This would certainly help to clear the junk out of my head!Good luck and let me know if I can help you.
