New Google AdWords Tool for adding quotes and brackets to your keywords

We've been setting up a lot of pay-per-click campaigns for our clients lately - usually in Google AdWords.  If you do pay-per-click campaigns, you probably know that one best practice is to add brackets and quotes to your keyword list - which makes them a phrase match or exact match.  It's simple, but repetitive and time-consuming to do that by hand -- especially if you have hundreds of keywords for each ad group as I do.

Here's a simple tool my team just created to help me convert my keyword lists on the fly.  I think it took them about 15 minutes to create, but it will save me a bunch of time in the long run. I thought I'd share it with others to hopefully make your work a little easier too.  If you find it useful -- maybe thank us with a link from your website or blog!

I recently attended an Internet Marketing Strategy seminar where they emphasized using quotes and brackets in Google Adwords. We have seen our leads decrease, cost per click go up, but our overall cost per campaign go down. Sales remained constant, so cost per sale went down. The links in your article are broke - would love to see what your team created.

Steve, thanks for the heads up! We upgraded the server recently and it apparently broke the link! It is now fixed. Let me know how it works for you!

I have been using these quotes and brackets for almost a year when setting up keywords on Google adwords and it really works! Great thanks to Google!
